Dreams Tulum Resort for Weddings and Honeymoon

I had the pleasure of visiting the Dreams Tulum Resort, meet one of the wedding coordinators and was taken on a wedding showcase tour of their property the last time I was in Mexico. It is a popular choice for my bridal groups looking for a destination wedding. Why?

Price is right. 5 star property with achievable cost allowing many guests to attend

Dreams Tulum – Wedding Guide– free wedding offer, plus free anniversary nights

           Good beach, white sand

6 a la carte restaurants and no reservations required as part of the all-inclusive meal plan

Small-medium sized resort. Not a mega-resort by any means.

The property is lovely and landscaped very well. You are far from that party, Cancun atmosphere. Enter relaxation…enjoy your hammock on your balcony (every room has one) and enjoy a cold bevvy from the friendly bartender as you make your way to the beach.

Wedding Ceremony Sites

It was a lucky day for me, as the Dreams Tulum was hosting a wedding that afternoon in their chapel. The chapel that they have is bright blue in color (I can’t think of another word but ‘cute’) and has air-conditioning. The perfect location for a ceremony in the hot of the day and it is not necessary to have a Catholic ceremony to use this location.

Beach Ceremony:

The beach set up above is with basic chairs and covers and the couple here added in one feature colour. You can choose so many options including upgrading the chairs and sashes etc. Still very pretty with the basic set up!

 Reception Choices:

Reception choices can be in their beach side restaurant, gourmet restaurant, on the beach, pool side reception, hall. There are many choices, depending on how large your group is and your preference.

What to do near Tulum for your guests?

The Dreams Tulum is in a quiter area and it is about 90 minutes from the Cancun Airport. Tulum is all about the beaches and a slower pace of life. However nearby are the Tulum Ruins, Xel-ha park for snorkelling, swim with dolphins, lazy river, and check out nearby cenote Dos Ojos. The town of Tulum is good to pick up some souvenirs. Playa del Carmen is a good 1/2 taxi drive if any guests are interested.

Golf is nearby at the Riviera Maya Golf course. The Dreams Tulum has a great spa and hair salon for those wanting to relax and rejunivate that way as well.
